Love. To. Dance.

Do you ever hear a favourite tune on the radio and just start dancing to it in your living room? I think that is fairly common, I know I certainly do it. It is the perfect opportunity to hear great music, and dance like no one is watching. My card today reminds me of the fun and carefree moments created by that, not to mention it is good exercise!!!

Frosty Christmas Scenes

The Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge is to create a project with our favourite holiday product. Are the kidding? Just one?? There are so many beautiful products in the Holiday Catalogue , so many fun products, easy and creative kits, and so much more, you can’t pick just one favourite. I did pick one of my favourites for my cards today though, and it is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful ones. My cards feature the Feels Like Frost Specialty 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.

Together We Are Better

How many things in life are made better by sharing them with someone, or doing things together? Lots and lots and lots!! Stamping is one of the first things that comes to mind. I love stamping, and spending time in my craft studio, but stamping with friends is the best. We did just that on Saturday at my Stamp-a-Stack. Since we just celebrated Thanksgiving in Canada, being thankful is on our minds, so making a card to share with someone seems like the right thing to do. Simple stamping is a great way to create a beautiful card quickly, and an opportuntiy to create some pretty Designer Paper for the background, as I did for this card.

Simply Grateful

I have spent most of the summer working and living at my cottage. I am so very grateful to have an opportunity to do this. I work as a server at a local restaurant, and I love it. You meet so many wonderful people, and I have also had an opportunity to sell some of my cards. My card today, reflects my thoughts, I am grateful to be able to live in nature, in such a beautiful part of our province, and my heart overflows with gratitude.

Winter Bunny

Have you seen the Nature’s Beauty stamp set on the back page of the Holiday catalogue? It is a stunning stamp set with line drawings that include a fox, a deer and a bunny, along with some trees, etc. The images are lovely, but the best thing about this set is a Difference Maker set. That means that $4.00 from each set sold will be donated to a Mental Health Organization. In Canada, money from sales of this set will be donated to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
