Beginning and End
When you open the Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalogue, the first suite you find is the Toile Tidings Suite. A beautiful cardinal stamp, traditional Christmas red and green, and some pretty ribbon and other embellishments. Everything in this suite shouts Christmas loud and clear.
My card today does not use a stamp set from this suite, instead I used the beautiful stamp set from the very end of the catalogue, Nature’s Beauty. I love the images in this stamp set, and I really appreciate everyone that purchases this stamp set. This is the Be A Difference Maker from Stampin’ Up! which means in Canada, for each stamp set sold, $4.00 will go to CAMH. Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
I used Gold Embossing powder for both the deer and the sentiment (which is from Itty Bitty Christmas) on my card.
I cut the deer out with the Layering Ovals dies, along with a Garden Green frame to coordinate with the DSP and ribbon. I used the Toile Tiding Designer Series Paper for my background, and wrapped a piece of the Garden Green 3/8” Double Stitched Ribbon around the bottom of the card, under the sentiment.
I think everyone who lives in Canada should click on the stamp set image below and order this beautiful stamp set. Hubby can’t say no, it would be your good deed for the day!
