Happily Ever After

When we hear “happily ever after”, we tend to think about a wedding. Wishing the new couple a wonderful wedding day, and that they will live happily ever after. Wishes for a lifetime of love and happiness has the same meaning, but with different words. To me, the first is more fairy tale, while the latter feels like our hope for real life. Either way, they are both lovely, and send joyful wishes to the recipient.

My card today is for the Global Design Project challenge, whose theme is Happily Ever After. Here is the banner for the challenge.

The unique background on my card is made by scrunching (yes, that’s a technical term!!) a plastic bag in your hand and using that as your ‘stamp’. Just dab it on your ink pad, and then stamp all over your cardstock. Where the bag is folded and scrunched, you get a unique background pattern. Mine is stamped with Gorgeous Grape.
I also used Highland Heather and Coastal Cabana on my card. The image and sentiment are both from the Dandelion Wishes stamp set.
A couple of Clear Rhinestones give my card a little bling.
