Happy Anniversary

January 26th was the 2 year anniversary of my marriage to MSH (my sweet husband). We celebrate each month, and I make a card for him, but this was an annual anniversary, so I wanted to make him a card that was a little more special.

Masking Technique

To A Wild Rose

Today I have decided to play with the To A Wild Rose Bundle again, but this time I’m only using the dies. The Wild Rose die set has shapes to cut out the flower and leaf stamps, but it also included a sentiment cut out, a border strip and leaf and flower outlines. You can make a whole card with just the dies!

Oh So Delicate

A Colour Challenge

I love participating in different card making challenges, I find they push me to try things I wouldn’t think of. Today is another example of that with a colour challenge. So Saffron, Rococco Rose and Mint Macaron. I love all three of these colours, but probably would not put them together in a card if someone didn’t tell me to!

I love all the products in the Come Sail Away Suite. The stamps, coordinating dies, Designer Series Paper, and the embellishments that coordinate beautifully with these items to give you projects some great finishing touches. As is often the case with Stampin’ Up! products, if you think outside the box, there are some great ways to use these products in ways other than what you may initially think. Stamparatus To The Rescue

So here is my story. While skiing in March I fell and sprained my thumb. It seemed to take a long time to heal, and is still rather weak, but I didn’t think too much of it. I recently found out I have a torn ligament. The extent of the damage isn’t known yet, I have to go for an MRI, but it may need surgery to fix. On the bright side, the doctor couldn’t believe I’m not in great pain, which thankfully I am not. However it they did give me a splint which I am to wear all the time. Did I mention that this is on my right hand? How will I stamp???

How Lovely is Garden Lane

Each year when the annual Stampin’ Up! catalogue is coming to an end I feel a bit sad. All the gorgeous Designer Series Papers that retire will be missed. Delicate Flower

Here Comes Fall
