MY STORY

My name is Connie Douglas, and I live in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. I have two adult children, and am now married to a wonderful man who you may hear about in my blog posts from time to time - MSH - My Sweet Husband!! I started stamping in 2007 and quickly fell in love with the hobby. Early in 2009 my friends started to ask if I owned every Stampin’ Up! product, and while I did not, I realized that stamping and sharing what I loved was very important to me, so in June 2009 I became an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. Since then, my hobby has evolved into a business, sometimes taking center stage as my primary focus, and at other times remaining a more casual pursuit. That is the beauty of this business, it can be as big or small, busy or casual as you like, and it can change over time with the ebb and flow of our lives.
Teaching stamping, memory keeping, and paper crafting has become my main focus, and I love it. Sharing what I love with friends old and new brings great joy to my life. For me, helping you create that perfect project for a special occasion is a great feeling. After all, creating cards, scrapbooks, memory pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps, ink and paper – it is about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love.
Happy Stamping,
Connie
When I host my Girls Get Away Weekend I love to find ways to surprise and delight my guests.
We always have a fun time at our Mystery Stamping Event, and we all leave with some great cards.
We used some pretty Sale-a-Bration paper for Connie’s Craft Along and a Stack, Cut, Shuffle to create 3 pretty backgrounds for our cards.
I was tidying up some kits, and finishing off a few projects and thought I would share them with you!
Today I decided to play with the Metallic Enamel Effects along with the Yuletide Village stamp set
The Yuletide Village stamp set is so beautiful, and it gets even better as you play with it.
Holiday Icons are everywhere this time of year, so today I'm sharing an icon that goes back to where it all started. The star over Bethlehem, and the celebration of the birth of our Lord Jesus.
Today I am sharing cards using the Iconic Celebrations patterned paper and the Peaceful Season bundle.
