The days are still lovely, but the nights are cooler, and you can feel that Fall is just around the corner. With that, I often turn my colour choices for cards to oranges, greens, browns, golden yellow, and others that remind us of nature’s beauty as the leaves turn colours.
Read MoreA number of years ago I adoped the word BELIEVE as my word. It was a time of new beginnings for me, and it struck me that all I had to do was believe. Believe I could make a new start, believe that I could be successful. Believe that I . . . whatever I needed at any moment, it was there to support me at any given time. I have a number of items around my home to remind me of this. Plaques, mugs, framed art I have made, an engraved polished stone, whatever I have found and collected over the years. The stamp set Itty Bitty Christmas has a stamp that simply says ‘believe’ and I used it on my card today.
Read MoreI love participating in different card making challenges, I find they push me to try things I wouldn’t think of. Today is another example of that with a colour challenge. So Saffron, Rococco Rose and Mint Macaron. I love all three of these colours, but probably would not put them together in a card if someone didn’t tell me to!

Read MoreHow many times have you wished someone their happiest birthday ever? I know I have said it, and written in on birthday cards. I don’t really want this year to be their happiest birthday ever, just the happiest birthday they have had yet. I hope that their next birthday will be even better than this one, but that is for another year. My card today will certainly let someone know I want them to have the happiest birthday thay have had yet. It’s their day, and I want to share in celebrating that.
