Sitting Pretty

I’m not sure if this is the same guy that was kicking up flowers in the garden, but for now he is certainly sitting pretty on my card!

More Prized Peony Colouring

Recently I showed you how to add colour to the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper using ink and sponge daubers. Today I’m back at adding colour, but this time I used my Stampin’ Blend Markers.

Peony Garden - Just Add Colour

The Peony Garden Designer Series Paper is lovely. The soft and muted colours Basic Grey, Grey Granite and Petal Pink make a lovely backdrop for lots of cards. Today though, I wanted something brighter, with more colour.

Enjoy The Moment

Enjoy the Moment. What a fabulous thought, and sentiment for a card, and something many of us need to be reminded to do from time to time, especially these days. Taking the time to find beauty around us, and enjoy the moment rather than rushing forward, or always looking back can bring us peace and tranquility, joy and happiness.

Golf Anyone?

It may be the middle of winter, and it sounds like we are in for some bad snow storms this weekend, but I know some people are headed off to warmer climates, and a few rounds of golf. Perhaps you have a golf vacation planned, and here is a card to get you “in the swing” (Sorry, I couldn’t resist!!)

A Colour Challenge

I love participating in different card making challenges, I find they push me to try things I wouldn’t think of. Today is another example of that with a colour challenge. So Saffron, Rococco Rose and Mint Macaron. I love all three of these colours, but probably would not put them together in a card if someone didn’t tell me to!

Spring Butterflies

Spring is in the air - - at least the last few days, although I suspect we will have some more cold weather and probably some more snow. But let’s not think about that for now. Instead, let’s think spring and pretty colours. That’s what I did as I created this card.

Rustic Colouring

My card the other day used some of the Country Lane DSP, and a sentiment from the Contry Home stamp set, both part of the Country Lane Suite in the Holiday Catalogue. If you missed that card, you can see it here. Today my card uses some of the other stamps in the Country Home stamp set. It is a fantastic set with some great stamps that have a real down home country feel.

This one is for the birds!

The birds have returned from their winter down south, and they are hungry after all that travel. Many mornings, and even through the day there is a line up at the bird feeder on my back deck! I enjoy the chickadees through the winter, but I love to see the other birds return in the Spring.
My card for today is definitely spring inspired, and for the birds who are back and setting up their summer home!

I'm at OnStage but here's a card for you

Today is a very exciting day for me. I am at OnStage Local in London, Ontario. It is the spring Stampin' Up! conference for Demonstrators, and it is ALWAYS an amazing event.
So while I am away, I have another Flying Home card for you.
