Believe
A number of years ago I adoped the word BELIEVE as my word. It was a time of new beginnings for me, and it struck me that all I had to do was believe. Believe I could make a new start, believe that I could be successful. Believe that I . . . whatever I needed at any moment, it was there to support me at any given time. I have a number of items around my home to remind me of this. Plaques, mugs, framed art I have made, an engraved polished stone, whatever I have found and collected over the years. The stamp set Itty Bitty Christmas has a stamp that simply says ‘believe’ and I used it on my card today.
This card is for the Case This Sketch challenge. Here is the sketch that inspired my card.
I used the fun Snowman Season stamp set to stamp my snowman in Seaside Spray, then added a bit of colour with my Stampin’ Write markers in Real Red and Pumpkin Pie. I brushed Wink of Stella over the snowman to make him glisten. I mounted him on a piece of Blueberry Bushel card stock, then Real Red card stock that I embossed with the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder. Another layer of Blueberry Bushel, and a Seaside Spray card base. My sentiment is stamped in Blueberry Bushel ink, on Seaside Spray and punched with the Classic Label punch. This is mounted on a piece of Blueberry Bushel, cut with the Stitched Rectangular dies.
For today, let’s all believe in the wonderful world of cute snowmen!!
