Do you have a collection of beautiful tea cups? My Mother had lots of beautiful tea cups that she used on a regular basis. When I was little and her friends came over they would always have tea in lovely china cups. I used to love seeing all the pretty colours and patterns, and picking which ones I liked best. I decided to create a pretty china tea cup for my card for the Global Design Project Sketch Challenge.

Dragon Flies are beautiful insects and I love to see them at my cottage. When the dragon flies come out, we know the blackflies are gone, and they eat lots of mosquitos, so they are a wonderful sign of early summer. This card shares a pretty, shiny dragonfly and lets a friend know you are thinking of them.

I recently heard the old John Denver hit song Country Roads on the radio. They were talking about how the writers of the song were travelling when they wrote it, but not to West Virginia, and in fact, they had never been to West Virginia! Do you believe in love at first sight? If you are a crafter, you have probably fallen in love many times when you first saw a new craft product!! That was how I felt when I first saw the Nature's Poem Suite. The Rooted in Nature stamp set has some beautiful images of trees and leaves. The sentiment stamp Be Strong Be Happy Be You is one of my new favourites, and the coordinating Nature's Roots Framelits Dies make cutting and designing with these images super easy.

Do you ever pause and think of a good friend. What happens when you do that? For me, it puts a smile on my face. I have many wonderful friends and I love them all dearly. They are my support system, they make me laugh, they inspire me, give me sound advice, join me in my adventures, and most of them will have to be my life long friends because they know way too much about me!!! I need to keep them close so my secrets don't spill out. LOL
