First 10K

All summer my girlfriend and I have been walking at the cottage. At the beginning of the season I was rather slow, and we only went to the end of our cottage road, about 4.5 K total to walk out and back. Each day she would suggest we go a little further than the day before. She is very active, so this wasn’t a big walk for her, but as she said, let’s push ourselves to get better over the summer.

Giving Back in the Community

I have always felt strongly about how important it is to give back. Over the years I have volunteered with a variety of organizations, and each has given me knowledge, perspective, and a rewarding feeling.
When Covid started, things changed. I had been doing volunteer work at the Wasaga Beach YMCA, but it closed. I wanted to find a new way to give back.
