Poinsettia Petals
I am still loving the Poinsettia Dies, and have lots of fun playing with them. I use them every chance I get, so when I participated in a sketch challenge recently, they were my go to for the card.
I used the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint with some rubbing alcohol and my Stampin’ Spritzer to spray a sheet of Real Red cardstock. I then cut my poinsettia flower petals with the shimmery cardstock. My flower centre is a Gold Glitter Enamel Dot.
The flower is layered on Very Vanilla embossed with the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folder, and framed with Night of Navy cardstock. My backdrop is embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.
My banner is cut from a Red Foil Sheet. The sentiment on my card is from the Wrapped In Christmas stamp set. I stamped in Real Red ink, and punched it out with the 1 1/2” circle punch.
I love using a sketch challenge to provide inspiration in my crafting. One layout can be used to create several cards, each one looking very different dependin on the colours, papers and stamps that you choose.
