Happy Fall
It’s fall, and although the trees around me turned colour early, and are mostly off the trees already, the colours were glorious. This is a great time of year to take some exceptional photos of nature’s beauty that surrounds us, and they deserve a special page in our scrapbooks!
I created this layout to inspire you with your fall themed scrapbooking pages. This double page layout focuses on the Gilded Autumn Suite, one of my favourites for cards and scrapbooks at this time of year.
I love the gold and copper accents on this paper, so I used a 2 inch strip across both pages and left them fairly open to show them off. The flip side of the papers in this package do not have the metallic accents, but I do love the look of the Crumb Cake with Early Espresso splatter, so I also used large pieces of it. Very Vanilla and Early Espresso card stock round out my 12 x 12 background.
I made my Happy Fall title using the upper case letters from the Make A Difference stamp set. I used my Stamparatus to make sure I got the letter lined up straight across my banner strip, and stamped them with Early Espresso ink on Very Vanilla cardstock. I layered that on a piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock.
My leaves down the edge and on the Crumb Cake section are stamped with Early Espresso, and are from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set.
Some leaves stamped with Pumpkin Pie ink on Pumpkin Pie cardstock and punched out with the Autumn Punch Pack along with some of the metallic lines leaves punched from the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper accent the page.
My second page is the same layout as the first, but I flipped the colours of the cardstock. I cut photo frames with the Stitched Rectangle Dies and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. My journaling block is Very Vanilla cardstock with a Copper Foil frame cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies.
I stamped some more images and used punches leaves to embellish the page, similar to the first page.
Here are some closer photos of some of the details on the pages.
Are you feeling inspired to create your own Fall Themed scrapbook pages? I hope so!!
Happy stamping and scrapping.
