Happy Anniversary

A wedding anniversary is a special celebration for two people who have committed to spend their lives together. As with anything in life, there will be ups and downs, but this is a day to remember and celebrate all the good times that have been shared.

I made this card for friends who were celebrating their 18th wedding anniversary. I used the So Sentimental stamp set and Gold Embossing Powder to create my sentiment piece, and cut it with one of the Tasteful Labels dies. The background paper is a piece of the beautiful Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper.
I decorated my card with Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie, and Cinnamon Cider leaves and acorns stamped tone on tone with the Beautiful Autumn stamps, and punched with the coordinating Autumn Punch Pack. I also added a few leaves punched from Very Vanilla cardstock that had been spritzed with Frost White Shimmer Paint.
The frame is Early Espresso card stock, and I used Thick Very Vanilla for the card base.
I added some Gold Thread that I frayed, from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack.

I wasn’t mailing this card, so I had a little more room to decorate the envelope, and a little bit of stamping inside the card as well.
