How many times have you wished someone their happiest birthday ever? I know I have said it, and written in on birthday cards. I don’t really want this year to be their happiest birthday ever, just the happiest birthday they have had yet. I hope that their next birthday will be even better than this one, but that is for another year. My card today will certainly let someone know I want them to have the happiest birthday thay have had yet. It’s their day, and I want to share in celebrating that.

Over The Moooon!

I love the Over The Moon stamp set, the cute cows are so much fun to create with. I made this card for MSH (My Sweet Husband) to show him how much he means to me, and it is perfect for the Global Design Project theme challenge this week.

Friendly Thoughts

My card today is for the Fab Friday Challenge. It is a colour challenge, and I must say, when I saw the colours they gave us I was not sure about them! They certainly are not colours I would generally put together, but trusting the challenge I moved forward, and surprisingly it works!!

Woodland Day

I’m having tons of fun colouring my Designer Series Paper with my Stampin’ Blends. Today I coloured a piece of DSP from Garden Lane for a sketch challenge from Case This Sketch.

Summertime and the Garden is Blooming

I love all the pretty flowers in the gardens over the summer. Anywhere you travel, you can pass many houses with beautiful flowers growing. Each one perfect in natures beauty. My card today is part of the Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge, (SUOC), whose theme this time is Summer.

A Well Said Happy Birthday

If you are looking for a great Go-To sentiment set, Well Said is sure to hit the mark. It has all sorts of words you can put together to create a unique greeting, along with some phrases that are wonderful. There is also a coordinating die set called Well Written. Together you can say almost anything! I used the Happy and Birthday from the stamp set for my card today.

Heirloom Thoughts

I’m back with another Designer Series Paper focused card. If you want to create beautiful handmade cards, using DSP for your backdrop is a great way to create cards easily. Today I used some DSP from the Woven Threads Designer Series Paper.

Loving The Garden Lane

If you follow my blog posts, you know I love my Designer Series Paper! The Garden Lane DSP is one of my new favourites. I don’t think it is possible to make a card that isn’t beautiful if you start with this, and that is what I did today.

Country Home

I haven’t played with the Country Home stamp set (page 95 in the Annual Catalogue) much lately I love it, so today was the day! Life in the country often means beautiful gardens with bright blooms of heritage flowers. This set has some pretty images, great for colouring.

It's Summertime and I'm Grateful

It summertime, and I’m thankful for that, but for lots of other things as well. One of them is the Head Coach at my Artistic Swimming Club, The Toronto Tsunamis. Our season is on summer break right now, but I wanted to make sure she knew how much her efforts are appreciated. I made this Thank You card for her, thanking for her hard work and dedication, and wishing her a wonderful summer with her family.

Come Sail Away Baby

I love all the products in the Come Sail Away Suite. The stamps, coordinating dies, Designer Series Paper, and the embellishments that coordinate beautifully with these items to give you projects some great finishing touches. As is often the case with Stampin’ Up! products, if you think outside the box, there are some great ways to use these products in ways other than what you may initially think. That was the case with my card for today.

This card is CASE’d (Copy and Selectively Edit) from a card on page 98 of the Annual Catalogue. Today I’m using the Woven Threads DSP. I love the vintage feel of many of the sheets in this pack, and I have used one of my favourites.

The Journey of Life

The journey of life is best shared with a friend, and I am truly grateful for all the wonderful friends in my life. My sweet husband, my girlfriends, and so many others all play an important role in my journey of life. My card today celebrates all my wonderful friends.

Sparkling Birthday Wishes

The new annual Stampin’ Up! Catalogue has two new embossing powders; Shimmer Black and Shimmer White. Today I decided to play with the Shimmer White, and it is magnificent. I have never embossed one of our DistINKtive stamps, so decided to give it a try. While some of the unique shading is lost doing this, it gave me the perfect opportunity to add some highlights.

Stamparatus To The Rescue

So here is my story. While skiing in March I fell and sprained my thumb. It seemed to take a long time to heal, and is still rather weak, but I didn’t think too much of it. I recently found out I have a torn ligament. The extent of the damage isn’t known yet, I have to go for an MRI, but it may need surgery to fix. On the bright side, the doctor couldn’t believe I’m not in great pain, which thankfully I am not. However it they did give me a splint which I am to wear all the time. Did I mention that this is on my right hand? How will I stamp???
