Cut and Create for #SimpleStamping
Today I am showcasing more of the gorgeous Garden Lane Designer Series Paper for #cutandcreate and #simplestamping. The patterns and colours in this pack are so pretty I hardly know where to start, I may have to make more cards and use them all!
This was the first card I made, cutting a piece of 4 3/4” x 4” piece of DSP on an angle to create some interest. The angle of the cut, and where you make it don’t really matter, it is the angle that creates some interest. I used Snail adhesive to adhere them to a Pear Pizzazz card base, leaving a 1/4” gap at my cut.
This is the second card and for this one I used a slightly smaller piece of DSP, 4 1/2” x 4” to leave a larger gap. I cut this piece straight across, and turned the top side over to show off both sides of this sheet of DSP.
The sentiment is the same on both cards, and is from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set, stamped in Mossy Meadow ink. I started with a 4” x 1” strip of Whisper White card stock, and then snipped each end to a point.
I mounted the sentiment over the gap on each card, with dimensionals.
