As a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator I love what I do. I get to meet all sorts of wonderful people, spend time stamping and creating with them, go on weekend get-aways, teach people how to create beautiful cards and other paper crafting projects, and be creative every day. My Mom loved Delft Blue, and I do too. She had a stunning Delft Blue plate collection that covered an entire wall in her kitchen. The new In Colour Blueberry Bushel is very much like the colour of those plates, and my card today looks like a Delft Blue tile to me.

The new Lovely Floral TIEF (Textured Impressions Embossing Folder) really is lovely. You can use it to create a beautiful focal point for your card. This card may look a little tricky to make, but it isn't really difficult. I used punches and embossing folders to create loads of detail in my card.

One of my neighbours at the cottage turned 70 at the end of June. What a great reason to celebrate! Debbie and Bill love spending time at their cottage, so it made perfect sense that her family and friends would gather at the lake to celebrate her milestone birthday. The Global Design Project this week is to use this sketch to inspire our cards. I really like working with sketches because they can be very flexible - you can use any stamp set and colours you like, you can turn them, and they are a fun way to be inspired to make different cards with a single layout style.
