Any time a card comes in the mail it brings a big smile to my face and warms my heart. That is just one of the reasons I love to make hand made cards. When I give them to friends and family it brings a smile to their face and brightens their day. Sometimes after I have made a card, just looking at it makes me happy.
Read MoreI hosted a Girls Get Away weekend in March, and we had a blast! It is a great time for socializing, crafting, girl fun, and just general de-stressing from our busy lives. Everyone brings whatever craft they want to work on, and we share ideas and inspiration. We have lots of scrap bookers, card makers, those that knit, crochet, read, do flower arrangements, and we had our first quilter at the event in March! It was a wonderful crafting weekend, and I’m already looking forward to the next one.

My daughter loves everything from Bath and Body Works, and I must admit that I really like them too. In addition to their wonderful products, they have super cute bags with a blue check pattern. The bags also include a great big logo, so they are not perfect to use as a gift bag as is, but that is easy to fix.

Read MoreHave you played with Brusho Crystals? These are watercolour ink crystals, and they are so much fun to play with. You can sprinkle them directly on water-washed paper, or use them with an Aqua Painter to colour an image you have stamped. They are bright and fun and every time you use them you can create something different and unique. I had made a number of background pieces with my Brusho Crystals, and today my card uses one of those.
Read MoreMy card today is one I made for an organized swap at OnStage in April. As I have posted previously, I was a Display Board stamper for this event, so I had brand new products to play with and share with everyone that attended OnStage in London, Ontario. I wanted my card to be extra special, and one that would show other demonstrators some of the new products and give them a jump on creating their own new cards. I love the new Animal Outing stamp set and coordinating Thinlits Dies, so decided to use them for my swap card. The animals are so cute and the ones in this card are no exception!
