For You My Friend

Today is a day for feeling blessed for all the wonderful things in my life. If you follow my blog, you know I am a big believer in Gratitude, counting my blessings and being truly grateful for all the great people that surround me. Today I am grateful for my friends, and want to share this card with each of you.

This card started from some scraps on my crafting table. I had stamped and punched the 3 top flowers with the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set and coordinating Small Bloom Punch. Both of these are available for FREE with a qualifying order during Sale-a-Bration. I stamped in Rococo Rose ink on Blushing Bride card stock, but didn’t end up using them for the project I was working on at the time. I noticed them today and knew they would be perfect for my card. I stamped and punched 3 more flowers with another stamp from the same set. I also stamped some small daisies with the stamp from the Daisy Lane stamp set, and punched them out with the Medium Daisy punch. The Friend sentiment is from the same set.
I embossed my Smoky Slate card stock with the new Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder, and mounted it all on a Thick Whisper White card base. I used some Pearl Basic Jewels for my flower centres.

Did you find the daisies in my card?

Nope! It looked like too much going on, and I really liked the look of the little flowers surrounding the Friend sentiment, so I didn’t end up using them. More bits for another card!!!
