I’m on a roll with the Rooted in Nature stamp set. I love to be out in nature in the warm weather, and cards made with this stamp set seem very fitting. Today I used the big tree trunk piece stamped with Early Espresso and fussy cut it for my card.
Read MoreI love spending time at the cottage in the summer, and as everyone knows, I love paper crafting!! I find making handmade cards is a great way to relax, and when you give someone a hand made card you share joy and love. What a perfect combination. I spend a lot of time at the cottage in the summer, as does my neighbour out back, so for Margo's birthday card I wanted to make a card that reflected the beauty that we enjoy all summer. Here is the card I made for her.
Read MoreOne of my neighbours at the cottage turned 70 at the end of June. What a great reason to celebrate! Debbie and Bill love spending time at their cottage, so it made perfect sense that her family and friends would gather at the lake to celebrate her milestone birthday. This is the birthday card I made to celebrate her day, and help her enjoy spending time relaxing at the cottage.
Read MoreIt is now officially summer, so it's time to relax!! It's a nice thought don't you think? I know the days can still be busy, as we head off to work or school, but the school year is almost over, and we are getting to the time where families take vacation. Even if you are planning a 'stay-cation' it is a nice time of year to relax and enjoy being outside. Let my card take you away for a little sit outside while you go through your day.
Read MoreWhen I was invited to my very first Stampin' Up! Workshop, I had no idea what to expect. While I had done crafts all my life, I had never really done any stamping, or made my own greeting cards. I really hadn't done a lot of papercrafting of any type. We made a Christmas card that was lovely, but then . . . we made a Bagalope. We turned a plain white envelope into a beautiful gift bag. . . and it was easy to do!!
Read MoreAs a display board stamper for our recent OnStage event in London, I had the task of making samples of cards with brand new, never before seen stamp sets. I have to say, this was a new challenge for me, and one that taught me a lot. One of the stamp sets I received was very different from anything I would normally purchase or use.
Read MoreThe Global Design Project challenge this week is a colour challenge, and it is a great one! Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, and Rich Razzleberry. I love this colour combination, and had so much fun making this card.
Read MoreI love the Daisy Delight stamp set and coordinating Daisy punch. They make it easy to create quick and cute cards. I was very happy to see that they would still be available when the new annual catalogue comes out on June 1, but it will no longer be a bundle, so get it now and save 10% when you buy both. The Designer Series Paper I used for today's card will also be gone.
Read MoreWell it looks like today is brought to you by the letter F, and the number Four!!!! Remember that from Sesame Street? That was a great show (it may still be, but I don't have any little ones so I'm not up on my children's programming!!), with some really cute characters. Today the letter F brings us four more cute characters.
Read MoreA birthday is something to celebrate, and that can mean cake and ice cream (or other yummy treats!!), but these days many people are watching what they consume, or have an allergy to ingredients in those treats. I'm happy to say that Stampin' Up! has a solution that will still allow us to celebrate someone's birthday. The perfect birthday card . . .
Read MoreAs stampers, we know that CASEing (Create and Share Everything, or Copy and Selectively Edit) is a great way to create our own beautiful cards. This week for the Global Design Project our inspiration comes from the very talented Allison Okamitsu. The challenge is to CASE her card, so here is my card.
Read MoreThe birds have returned from their winter down south, and they are hungry after all that travel. Many mornings, and even through the day there is a line up at the bird feeder on my back deck! I enjoy the chickadees through the winter, but I love to see the other birds return in the Spring.
My card for today is definitely spring inspired, and for the birds who are back and setting up their summer home!
This card showcases Wild Wasabi, Soft Sky, Tangerine Tango, and Island Indigo. These colours will be retiring at the end of May so make sure you have all the card stock you want as well as a reinker for your ink pad before they are gone.

Today's card uses a fun set from the Annual Catalogue called Birthday Delivery. There is a fantastic bundle available the includes the stamp set, the framelits and the DSP (Designer Series Paper). It is so cute and such fun to use to create all sorts of projects.
