Girls Get Away Weekend

Last weekend was our Girls Get Away Weekend (GGAW). I host these twice a year and they are always lots of fun, not to mention great for energizing you. I always feel inspired after spending a weekend with other crafty ladies that have come to be my friends over the years. We inspire, we create, we support and encourage each other, all while enjoying a weekend away from the stress of our everyday world. Oh, and we enjoy fantastic meals and (just a few) snacks!!!

While everyone brings their own projects for the weekend, I also provide a couple of Make and Takes. Attendees did mostly scrap booking this weekend, but I shared some cards with them, and they turned out great. Everyone had fun making them.

Here is one of the cards we made, celebrating soon to retire colours. Stampin' Up! is doing a colour refresh so some of the 'regular' colours will be retiring, along with the In Colours that are now two years old. This card showcases Wild Wasabi, Soft Sky, Tangerine Tango, and Island Indigo.
