Birthday Delivery Centre Fold

Hi Stamping Friend,

Today's card uses a fun set from the Annual Catalogue called Birthday Delivery. There is a fantastic bundle available the includes the stamp set, the framelits and the DSP (Designer Series Paper). It is so cute and such fun to use to create all sorts of projects. The DSP is bright and colourful, and you can use the framelits not only to cut stamped images, but some of them also match the DSP pictures. How cool is that?

For this card I stamped the girl and coloured her with ink and Blender Pens. The present is cut with a framelit from the DSP. The inside of the card is decorated with the birthday cake, also from the DSP and cut with a framelit. I love how easy these tools make it to create beautiful and unique cards.

You can see from the picture above that this card also has a centre fold opening. I like to change things up a bit from time to time, and this is an easy way to make your card extra special. You start with the same size card stock as always, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, but instead of scoring at 4 1/4, leave 4 1/4 inches in the middle and score at 2 1/8 from each end. When folded, the sides will meet in the middle for a centre fold opening.

Here is another card that uses a picture from the DSP cut out with the matching framelit. Isn't this fox cute?
