Lovin the Delft Blue feel

My Mom loved Delft Blue, and I do too. She had a stunning Delft Blue plate collection that covered an entire wall in her kitchen. The new In Colour Blueberry Bushel is very much like the colour of those plates, and my card today looks like a Delft Blue tile to me. 

To make this card I embossed a piece of Whisper White card stock using the Lovely Floral Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. To add the blue, I inked a clear block with my Blueberry Bushel ink pad, and gently rubbed it over the embossed card stock. This left dark blue on the raised parts of my card stock and also created some smudging on the edges, giving it a tile type of look. I layered my card front on the lovely new Balmy Blue card stock, and wrapped it with the Silver Metallic Edged ribbon. This all went on a Blueberry Bushel card base. The thank you greeting is from the Love What You Do stamp set and cut with a Stitched Shape Oval Framelit.
