To A Wild Rose

Today I have decided to play with the To A Wild Rose Bundle again, but this time I’m only using the dies. This bundle has a great stamp set, some of which I showed you here, but the dies are also fantastic. The Wild Rose die set has shapes to cut out the flower and leaf stamps, but it also included a sentiment cut out, a border strip and leaf and flower outlines. You can make a whole card with just the dies!

I used Pineapple Punch and Rococo Rose to cut flowers, and Granny Apple Green to cut leaves. I wasn’t sure how I was going to make the card so I cut a bunch of pieces to play with. I also cut the border strip, but I had too many pieces for one card so it ended up (as they say in the movies) on the cutting room floor. Okay, not literally, I keep my bits for other cards. I have lots right now, so there may be a bits and pieces card in the near future!!
The background on this card is Rococo Rose, and embossed with the Coastal Weave embossing folder. I love the pattern of this folder. My sentiment is from Itty Bitty Greetings, and my flower centres are Clear Rhinestones Basic Jewels.
Other than the sentiment there is no stamping, so my To A Wild Rose stamp set will have to wait for another day, but I really like the look of a card made with just die cuts.
