The theme for the Global Design Project this week is ‘Show Me the Sunshine’. Since I have been posting cards to help encourage Spring to arrive, this fits in beautifully.
How did I end up posting in the Global Design Project challenge you ask? Well, you will have to check out my blog post to read more about this new adventure!
The birds have returned from their winter down south, and they are hungry after all that travel. Many mornings, and even through the day there is a line up at the bird feeder on my back deck! I enjoy the chickadees through the winter, but I love to see the other birds return in the Spring.
My card for today is definitely spring inspired, and for the birds who are back and setting up their summer home!
Do you own the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set? This is one of the most versatile stamp sets ever. It covers virtually every occasion all in one set. This amazing stamp set will soon retire, so make sure you get it now.

Of course we don't want to break the bank to do that, but we want the recipient of the birthday greetings to know that we took the time, and made the effort to select the exact right thing, and spared little or no expense for them. I have spent countless hours looking for the ultimate birthday celebration, and I think I have finally found it.

Read MoreThe calendar says it is April, but we haven't had very many warm spring days yet. Spring is one of my favourite seasons, so I hope it isn't a myth this year. I love seeing the flowers and trees burst in to colour and bloom. Maybe a little magic will bring more spring weather and beautiful flowers.
Read MoreThe Grown With Love Bundle has everything you need to get in the Spring mood. The weather may not feel like spring, but using this stamp set and coordinating framelits dies you can't help but think about warm weather and beautiful flowers in the garden. I used our Stampin' Write markers to colour directly on my stamp to create some beautiful purple flowers with green stems. The Bundle of Love Specialty Designer Series Paper makes a beautiful back drop for this card.
Read MoreIt is April and that means the annual catalogue will expire soon. When it does, some of the products in it will retire and they won't be available in the new annual catalogue. That is kind of sad, but it does allow Stampin' Up! to offer some amazing new items, and that is very exciting! Before we get to that though, you still have an opportunity to get the stamps, paper, ink, etc. that you have had your eye on.
Read MoreToday is a very exciting day for me. I am at OnStage Local in London, Ontario. It is the spring Stampin' Up! conference for Demonstrators, and it is ALWAYS an amazing event.
So while I am away, I have another Flying Home card for you.
My card for today is easy to make and shows off some of our fantastic Designer Series Paper - Delightful Daisy (because I just can't get enough of it!!). It has a simple message that says it all to someone who has helped you out, gone above and beyond, or just been a good friend when you needed one. Sending a card is a great way to let people know how much you appreciate them, and it is sure to bring a smile to their face.

I mentioned in that post that I held a class with a card that I just couldn't decided what colour to use, so I let everyone choose the one they liked best. Here are the cards from that class.
Read MoreFrom the first time I saw the Delightful Daisy DSP at Stampin' Up! OnStage I loved it! The colour combinations are fantastic, the designs are beautiful, and I have loved creating many cards and scrap book pages with it. I can't believe we have had it for almost a year already, and it will likely retire soon. Before that happens I have a few more projects to share with you, and this one is also a Quick and Cute!
Read MoreHave you tried the baby wipe technique? There are lots of different ways you can use baby wipes in your stamping, this tutorial shows you a few. This is an easy technique (although it can get a bit messy!!), and gives you unique results every time.
Using baby wipes to create an ‘ink pad’ is a fun way to mix colours and get interesting and different looks for your stamping and background layers.
