More Colour Decisions!
Recently I wrote about struggling with all the great colours and colour combinations Stampin' Up! offers. You can see my original post here. I mentioned in that post that I held a class with a card that I just couldn't decided what colour to use, so I let everyone choose the one they liked best. Here are the cards from that class.
I made these two cards hoping that when I completed them one would be an obvious choice for a great colour combination. That didn't work, I still really like them both! The people that attended that class must have had the same dilemma, as half of them made the Pool Party version, and half made the Sweet Sugarplum one. I love when there are no bad choices!!
To make this card we stamped the flower image in VersaMark ink, and embossed with white embossing powder. We then sponged around the image in the same colour as the cardstock, using the flower image as a resist. The 'celebrate' greeting was die cut from a gold foil sheet, and we added some beautiful Lemon Lime Twist ribbon to complete our cards. If you missed these dies from Sale-a-Bration, don't worry, they will be available again starting in June when the new Annual catalogue is released.
