Checked Wishes

The Pattern Party Designer Series Paper has lots of bright colours, but the flip side is black and white, and one of my favourites is the black and white checks. Using this for card making gives the perfect opportunity to add ‘pops’ of colour with the great neutral patterns.

I used Coastal Cabana for my pop of colour on this card. The sentiment is from Biggest Wish, and die cut with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I added some Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon to coordinate with my black and white theme with a pop of sparkle.

This card uses the same elements, but I changed the accent colour to Pacific Point and used Matte Black Dots for the embellishment instead of ribbon.

There are so many options when you start with black and white, and with all the different patterns in this pack of DSP the possibilities are endless.
