Sweet Symmetry

The Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper has pretty pattern and lots of wonderful detail. It is great for making DSP the focal point of your card, or creating pretty backgrounds.

I used blocks of 2 designs for this card, accented with Night of Navy cardstock for the backdrop that is embossed with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder. The dragonfly punch provided wonderful accents, and the large one is perfect for a small sentiment, like this one from the Enjoy The Moment stamp set.

For this card I used a piece of the DSP for the backdrop. I love the subtle look of it, yet is you look closely it has wonderful detail in the flowers. The focal piece makes the card bright and cheery, perfect to sent to someone “just because”.

I have been sharing cards for Christmas In July, and the Sweet Symmetry DSP has a piece that is Just Jade, perfect for Christmas card crafting. I used the Poinsettia Petals and coordinating dies for this one. My backdrop for the poinsettia is a die cut from the Layering Diorama dies, embossed with the dots from the Checks & Dots Embossing Folders.
