Pretty Cards That Are In Good Taste
Whether you are looking for quick and cute, or lots of die cutting card ideas, starting with our wonderful Designer Series Paper is a great way to craft.
I have used the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper for all my cards today. This is large pack (24 sheets) of mainly neutral patterns that make great backgrounds but are versatile enough to be the main player on cards as well.
The first card lets the DSP do most of the work, creating an interesting backdrop for the sentiment from the Biggest Wish stamp set. It may be simple stamping but the card sends a big message.
Perhaps you would like to step it up a bit with some colour. This card features the Free As A Bird and Lovely You stamp sets. The branch, flowers and leaves were coloured with Stampin’ Blends. I stamped my image right on the DSP and love how the subtle pattern of the DSP creates some shading and texture for the birds.
If die cutting and lots of layers of DSP is to your liking, here is a card that has all that! I cut various layers of DSP with one of the Basic Borders dies and stacked them on the card front. My sentiment frame is a die cut from the Painted Labels Dies, and the sentiment is from the Enjoy The Moment stamp set. I added some Early Espresso Faux Suede Trim to finish it off.
Whether you decide to keep it simple, or step it up, the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper is a great place to start. It is just one of the DSP packs that is ON SALE NOW - 15% OFF. Hurry and get some before this sale ends.
