Friends Are Like Seashells Meet Blending Brushes
At my catalogue kick off in January I gave a demonstration using the new Blending Brushes. These brushes have super soft, fine bristles, and are tons of fun to play with. They give a lovely smooth finish to your ink blending.
I used Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody and Daffodil Delight to create this lovely background paper . During the kick off I did not make this into a card, it was simply used to show the new Blending Brushes.
Today I have the card that this background became part of!
I used the Friends Are Like Seashells Bundle to create this card. After I die cut my Basic White cardstock, I stamped the seashells in their places with Flirty Flamingo ink. I used my Blending Brushes again to add Pear Pizzazz ink to the sea plants on the die cut. Using the brushes it is easy to give them different shades and colour intensity.
After completing this, I adhered the piece to my background using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I wrapped ribbon from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack around these pieces and tied in a bow.
My sentiment is from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set, and I mounted it on a Stitched So Sweetly Die cut frame. I punched a small hole in the corner and used the Gold Trim from the Combo Pack to tie it to my bow.
I added some Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to my card for some sparkle, and because I love them!
I love when a card comes together in such a pretty way when I’m using up ‘bits and pieces’ I have around!
