Simply Well Suited

It can be fun to ‘think outside the box’ and get creative with our crafting supplies, but some days I like to craft and just let the theme of the stamps and supplies carry the flow to creating simple cards. And these cards still pack a great handmade punch!

I used the Handsomely Suited Bundle to create the easy, masculine cards.
The first card uses the tie stamps, alternating direction to create an easy card with a big birthday wish. I used Balmy Blue, Smoky Slate and Night of Navy to create my card. The sentiment frame is cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

For the second card, I cut some ties from the Well Suited Designer Series Paper, placing them in alternating directions on my card.

One of the stamps in the stamp set says “To One of the World’s Greatest Dads”, but I wanted this card to have a more general sentiment. I loved the World’s Greatest idea, so used just that part, cutting the rest of the sentiment off my stamped image.

I also used the ‘Friend’ stamp from the Well Said stamp set to create a custom sentiment for my card.

I finished the card with a double bow made using the Night of Navy twine from the Well Suited Twine Combo pack.
