A Mystery CASE
About 5 years ago I made this card.
It featured a pretty flower punch, and some Designer Series Paper that I really liked, all in Lost Lagoon and Pistachio Pudding, two colours that I really liked.
I found this card in a box recently and thought it would be a fun layout for our Mystery Stamping night. Hhhhmmmm, a Mystery CASE!
CASE means Copy And Selectively Edit, which means we could use the parts of the card we like best, and change it up where we wish to make it a new unique card.
Of course since this was Mystery Stamping, no one new what the final card was supposed to look like, as everyone created using nothing more than my clues.
I wanted to share one more Christmas layout with the Mystery stampers, so I made this card to show the layout with DSP from Tidings of Christmas, and the Evergreen Border Punch. The sentiment on this card is from the Bright Baubles stamp set.
The next two cards feature the beautiful Ever Eden Specialty Designer Series Paper. This SDSP will only be available until January 3, 2022, so if you don’t have any yet, now is the time to order some. It is stunning. I used some of the Brushed Metallic Cardstock for the butterfly that is a die cut from the Brilliant Wings Dies.
The final card I made used more of the Ever Eden SDSP and Brushed Metallic Cardstock along with the Daisy and Medium Daisy punches.
This is an easy layout for a card, but when you use gorgeous papers and pretty focal elements, you are well on your way to create beautiful handmade cards.
It is always fun to see what everyone comes up with on Mystery Stamping Night. We all use our own products, and everyone interprets the clues in their own way. The cards are always beautiful, and it is so much fun to create and share with each other.
