Fun Fold
When our world changed with Covid, I decided to dedicate some time to trying some new fun fold cards. Some have been posted on my blog, others have been part of my Classes By Mail kits, and all of them have been fun to learn to make, and pretty to send. Today I have been working on another fun fold. I’m sure it isn’t new, but it is new to me!
As with everything in our stamping and crafting world, there are many versions of this fold. The one that inspired me had the middle box section as the main front focal point, but I decided to add an extra ‘flap’ making the middle box section available for adding a hand written note.
You can see the blank inside in this photo of the card opened up.
I used the Four Seasons Floral stamp set, and coloured the flowers with my Stampin’ Blends. The Designer Series Paper is from the In Good Taste DSP pack, and coordinates nicely with my Highland Heather and Smoky Slate card stock.
Here is a top view of the open card showing all the fun folds that create it.
As with anything new, this card took a bit of ‘messing around’ to get the measurements just right for cutting and scoring, but once you have made it, the next one is easier.
I think this fun fold will have to be part of my next Product Purchase kit, so watch for that coming soon!
