Beauty and Elegance

Oh my gosh, I’m in LOVE with the Poinsettia Petals Bundle!! The stamp set includes stamps to create flower petal layers, leaves, a complete flower in one stamp, some twigs, berries and lovely holiday sentiments. The dies will cut the complete flower, cut and emboss the petal layers, and leaves, cut berry twigs and more.
When you stack the flower petal layers together, it is super easy to create a beautiful poinsettia flower. It is both beautiful and elegant.

I cut and embossed my flower petal layers using Merry Merlot card stock, and painted them with Wink of Stella. I then used my bone folder to curve some of the back petals down, and lightly folded the petals in the middle to give my flower some further dimension.
I cut and embossed the leaves and berry twig from Mossy Meadow card stock. The flower centre is die cut from a Gold Foil sheet.
My sentiment is from the same stamp set, stamped with VersaMark ink and Gold Embossing Powder, on Merry Merlot card stock.
I wanted my background to be fairly simple, so Very Vanilla on a Very Vanilla card base was perfect. I embossed the background with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder. I love this embossing folder for giving a subtle texture without being too busy.
