Craft Studio Hide & Seek
Tomorrow is Christmas and I want to wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas, and the very best of the season. 2020 has been quite the year, but we still have much to celebrate and I hope you find some new traditions to make this season special in different ways this year.
There have been some games in the craft studio this year, so today I want to present to you the finalists in the Craft Studio Hide and Seek competition.
These 3 are the top contenders and have been the best at hiding while I’m crafting all year long. Allow me to introduce them.
Stampin’ Dimensional. An essential item in my crafting. I love how they make bits of my cards pop and create extra dimension to add interest to all my projects. I use they on almost everything I make.
Bone Folder. This handy tool makes nice crisp fold lines for all your card bases, and is essential for 3D items. It helps ensure your square box turns out square!
Stampin’ Seal. This is a sticky character, and close relative of Stampin’ Seal + who placed a close 4th in the Hide and Seek competition. Since this is how I stick everything together you would think I would always know exactly where he is, yet this elusive guy seems to find a way to hide from me on a regular basis!
So how did these 3 make it to the finals? Well, if you look at them, they have similar colouring, which happens to be similar to that of my workspace. The fact that the Stampin’ Seal is clear makes him a bit of a chameleon, giving him an advantage in the Hide and Seek game.
So which one do you think was the winner?
Well, it is a little difficult to say. The Stampin’ Seal is the thickest, so easier to find as I pat around on my table looking, he came in 3rd place. The Bone Folder was the winner a few years ago, but now I keep several handy in various locations around the studio, and more than one on my main work space, so he placed 2nd this year. That make the Stampin’ Dimensionals this years winner in the Crafting Hide and Seek Challenge!
Fortunately I also have lots of Dimensionals around, so I can always pull out a fresh sheet if the one I had been using has found a great hiding spot.
Merry Christmas everyone!
