Bloom and Grow

Did you see my recent post with the magnolia I coloured with my Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blend? If not, you can see it here. I really like the way it turned out, so I decided to colour a whole garden of them!

The Global Design Project challenge this week is Bloom and Grow. My blue magnolia garden is for this challenge. Here is the banner.

My Design Series Paper is from the beautiful Magnolia Lane DSP, and I coloured the flowers with a Light Balmy Blue Stampin’ Write marker. I love how the soft Petal Pink that is on the paper shows through my colouring.
I kept my card simple because I wanted to really show off the flowers. My sentiment is from the Magnolia Blooms stamp set, stamped in Balmy Blue, and punched with the Tailored Tag punch. I also punched a Balmy Blue border, and mounted it on some Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon. I added some Clear Rhinestones for some extra sparkle!
