Rooted in Nature and the Stamparatus

There are 2 types of cards. Those that are very free flowing, and those that have more structure, such as rows of stamping, or repeated elements. I enjoy making both types of cards, which is why I'm so happy that it is now even easier to make structured cards with repeated elements. Oh sure, we could always do this, but my free hand placement is not always even, and that is just one reason why I am so in love with the new Stamparatus from Stampin' Up! It makes this type of stamping really easy, with great results every time. Case in point - my card for today.

I started stamping the leaf branch at the top. Then I moved the Stamparatus plate down two rows and stamped again. I repeated this down the piece of card stock. Then I went back to the top, but down one hinge and stamped my second colour. Down two hinges for the next. As you can see, I now have an evenly spaced two colour border down the right side of my card. Totally easy peasy!!
A bit of gold foil sheet for some bling, and a coloured wooden element embellishment and I have my card.
I love my Stamparatus!!
