A Sea of Swaps
Twice a year Stampin’ Up! has a conference, and this year they are also celebrating their 30th Anniversary. Although there are lots of local events around the world, the main live event was hosted in Orlando, Florida, and I HAD to go!! Any time Stampin’ Up! demonstrators get together, one of the things we love to do is swap creative ideas. We each make a whole bunch of one design, and then swap them with each other so we all have lots of amazing ideas to share with you. Here are some of my swaps for this amazing event.
I made lots of these, but ran out of room to lay them all out! I also made some other cards to swap and some 3D items as well. Watch for those in future posts, and I will also show you some of the ones I got when I traded. Here is a close up of my card.
I had so much fun with the Sponge Daubers and dots, I decided to use that technique for this swap. You can see my original spots here! I was making a more masculine themed swap, so I used Crumb Cake, Mossy Meadow and Bermuda Bay for my colour palette. I used the Copper embossing powder again, with the sailboat image from the Lilypad Lake stamp set. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Sunshine Sayings stamp set. This set has really become one of my “go to” sets lately, with the fabulous sentiments and fun images.
Stampin’ Up! is a fantastic company to work with. They provide amazing support for their demonstrators, and I love being part of this. There are lots of great reasons to be a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, and I’d love to have you join my team. Learn more about that here. Then you can join me at the next event, along with all the wonderful benefits of being a Demonstrator.
