A Fun Fold For Mystery Stamping
Figuring out what to do with your card pieces for a fancy fold card can be trickey, especially when you only get clues and one step at a time. That’s how we play Mystery Stamping, and it really is a lot of fun.
Here was our first clue.
CLUE #1 – Gather the following
My card is landscape
Cardstock – 11 x 4 ¼ scored at 2 ¾ , 5 ½
Patterned Paper – 4 tall x 2 ½ wide
Cardstock– 3 ¼ x 3 ¼
Cardstock – 3 x 3
Basic White Cardstock – 2 ¾ x 2 ¾
Basic White Cardstock – 5 ¼ x 4
5 ½ inches ribbon, or narrow cardstock strip
Stamps, ink, adhesive, embellishments
As we started, I gave everyone clues (steps) to create a card. Everyone decides how they want to interpret the clues and creates their own unique card.
The great reveal shows us that there is always lots of ways to put your pieces together to create great cards.
Since this is a fun fold, a standard Z Fold card, there are different ways to adhere pieces to the front of your card. The second card has a different configuration for the square layers than the first card, and there were others from our group. All were fantastic!
When you open the card, the front part that was not attached, sits over the second fold of the card base front, as you can see in the above photo.
