Pretty Cards Despite Technical Challenges!
It happens. Sometimes technology just doesn’t want to play the way I want it to! That was the case for my recent episode of Connie’s Craft Along. I decided to go straight to Facebook for my live crafting session. Of course that didn’t give the nice view I am used to, and I had to work harder to see comments, but we made it work!
We started with these pieces in bright and happy colours, and created a bright and happy card.
The patterned paper is from the Floral Delight Designer Series Paper and it is indeed delightful. Bright and sunny, it feels like Spring in a card. (Even though it is still cold and snowy here!)
We used this DSP during our Online Global Retreat, and I have totally fallen in love with it.
For the second card we added some extra texture by stamping tone-on-tone with the speckles from the Country Birdhouse stamp set.
The sentiments are from the Simply Said stamp set. In the video you will see how I stamped the long Happy Birthday in 2 steps to get the words to fit in the space I wanted.
