Masking - Layers of Beauty

At my Girls Get Away Weekend Retreat we got chatting about using masks to create cards, so today on Craft Spot I decided to play with the Layers of Beauty masks to create a pretty card.

I used Blending Brushes to create one version of the flowers and Sponge Dauber for the second version to see how they created different effects.

The flowers on the top (not on a card) were created using the Blending Brushes. The ones on the card were made with Sponge Daubers.

The Sponge Dauber gives softer lines and a bit more of a water colour effect. The Blending Brushes give a sharper, more defined edge to the image.
