Mediterranean Blooms for Craft Spot

We have so many pretty patterned papers it is hard to know which one to play with next! Well for now, until the end of August, I would suggest you play with one of the gorgeous packs (or maybe 2 or 3!) from the Annual Catalogue. They are all on sale right now, but just until the end of the month.

You can see the full selection of sale papers here. For Craft spot this week I decided to play with Mediterranean Blooms. I hadn’t purchases this when the catalogue came out, but every time I flip through the catalogue, or see a card made with this paper I am drawn to it. The “A” side (as it has been referred to) has absolutely gorgeous bright colours and images of oranges, lemons, blossoms and greenery. It is bright and happy and makes you smile. The “B” side of the paper (possibly the back?) is also stunning with different patterns in Boho Blue, Balmy Blue and Nigh of Navy. Blue is my favourite colour so of course I love this side too!

So on to some card crafting.

I wanted to use the You Are Beautiful stamp set, another relatively recent addition to my stash, and decided to go quick and lovely for this card. A full card front of beautiful Designer Series Paper, and a big heartwarming sentiment. A great recipe for a beautiful card.

Of course I had to make a card to show off the pretty blues side of the DSP, so I made another card similar to the second layout. I swapped out the sentiment for Happy Anniversary from the Sweetly Scripted stamp set as I need to add some anniversary cards to my stash!
