An Easy Summertime Layout for Connie's Craft Along

For our summer crafting on Connie’s Craft Along I am sharing easy layouts that you can use for quick cards with that handmade beauty, but of course you may always “step them up” with extra layers, die cuts, embellishments etc.

Here are the pieces we started with.

We cut the Patterned Paper into 1 inch strips to make 3 pieces for our card.

The cards feature the beautiful Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper. Rather than wrapping and tying the ribbon and bow I “cheated” by wrapping the ribbon on the card then adding a bow on top. Still a pretty look, but easier for me!

This card is very similar but has a rather different look due to the change in background colours. I love how easy it is to create different looks for your cards just by changing some colours.
