Using Up Our Strips
As crafters we end up with lots of scraps, especially 1/2” strips that we cut off cardstock to make our layers. Here is an awesome way to use those strips to make fantastic backgrounds for future cards.
Cover a piece of Basic White cardstock with an adhesive sheet. These are perfect for quick and easy crafting.
After that you just add strips of cardstock in an interest pattern. Trim around the edges and you have a great background layer. Just add a sentiment and you are done.
You can lay your strips in any pattern you like, mix in Designer Series Paper, or specialty papers, whatever you like.
