Change In Plans
Last night was Monday, so I had my regular That’s Fancy show on Facebook. I had suggested to everyone that I would show the new Masking Paper, and we would make something with some of the Designer Series paper that I had show from the package, but with no project. That was the plan, but things changed. I needed to make some cards for 2 card ministries that I donate to.
I did use some of the new DSP for my cards. All of these papers are from the Host pack, Design A Daydream. It is so pretty and I love to show it off with this layout.
My sentiment is from the Go To Greetings stamp set. It is an awesome MUST HAVE stamp set with gorgeous fonts on everyday sentiments.
The 3 cards that are very similar have DSP that is 5 1/4 x 4. When you cut 2 from a 4 inch wide strip, you end up with 1 1/2 inches left over, perfect for the vertical strip on another card!
For these next cards I used some different sheets from the same package of DSP, and cut pieces 3 1/4 x 2 inches. I overlapped the two pieces, added a sentiment and some gems and I have another great layout for my cards.
Rather than gems to embellish, I used some Sheer Pool Party ribbon for some of the cards.
This was a wonderful opportunity to play with lots of different gems, which as you know, makes me very happy!
Thank you for your grace, and for indulging me as I created cards for some very special deliveries this weekend.
