Plentiful Plants Pinwheel Tower Card
It's Saturday and time for another FAB Stampers post. It's Jeanne’s turn this week, and she’s chosen to make a Pinwheel Tower Fun Fold using the Plentiful Plants Bundle.
From Jeanne’s Stampin' Shack
I've been wanting to make a Pinwheel Tower Fun Fold card for a while now, but I've been busy with taxes, a special class, and a dozen other things. I'm finally beginning to get caught up again, so I thought this was the perfect time to try this fold.
It's a Combo!
This card is a combination of many things. It's a combination of two different bundles, a combination of continuing and retiring product, a combination of stamping and pre-printed images, and a combination of die cutting and fussy cutting. This card has a little bit of everything!
The Fold
This card looks a lot more complicated than it is, and it still folds flat for mailing in a regular Medium Envelope. Here's what you'll need to make the base card.
A piece of cardstock 4" x 4 1/2", scored on the long side at 1, 2, 3, and 4. That will leave a 1/2" flap on the end. After burnishing all the score lines with your bone folder, put glue on the flap and adhere it to the other end of the cardstock, creating a square tower.
Four panels 2 3/4" x 4". Lay your tower flat, and place glue on one of the four sections of your tower. Line up the left edge of one of the panels with the left score line and adhere. The right side of the panel will overhang. Do this on all four sides of the tower, being sure to always line up the left side and let the right side of the panel overhang.
Here's a view from above.
Decorate the Panels
Next, you'll decorate both the front and back side of the panels as desired. I used papers from the Bloom Where You're Planted DSP (retiring soon). The stamps and dies are from both the Plentiful Plants Bundle and the Welcoming Window Bundle (retiring soon).
I fussy cut some of the plants from the DSP and stamped and die cut others. The images are stamped in Evening Evergreen, Just Jade (retiring soon), and Garden Green inks.
Finally, I embellished with the Pebbles Enamel Shapes.
Don't Delay!
As I indicated above, several of the items I used will be retiring soon. As of this writing, all items are still available.
