Fancy Folds and Pretty Cards
Today I have a fun fold that is easy to make, especially when we craft together!
This card starts with a Z Fold, but also includes a band that adds an extra layer of fun and gives my pelican a place to sit. This card features the Waves of the Ocean Collection products, with the stunning DSP, Foil and Gems.
I decided to play with the Hello Ladybug Bundle for the second card. This was the first time I played with this bundle and I love it. The ladybug is so cute.
You can stamp and punch, or just punch with coloured cardstock which I decided to here. I punched the body in Poppy Parade and the wings are Basic Black. I coloured the wings with Wink of Stella. I didn’t realize while I was making it, but I should have reversed the body and wing colours. Oh well, it’s crafting creativity!
I fussy cut the leaf so my ladybug could sit on it. You know fussy cutting is not my favourite activity, but this one wasn’t too bad. I always like the end result, so this one was worth the effort.
I love how these cards look standing up on display.
