Pretty Birthday Cards
Here is an easy layout that shows off (or uses up!) some of your smaller strips of pretty Designer Series Paper for some easy Birthday cards.
The Details and How To’s
I used 3 strips of coordinating DSP, cut 1 x 4 inches. This one is Pattern Party. I love the bright colours and pretty patterns. I mounted them on a piece of 3 3/4 x 4 1/2 cardstock, and adhered it to the card base with Dimensionals. This left enough space at the bottom for me to stamp my Happy Birthday sentiment. This nice bold sentiment is from the Artistically Inked stamp set. The focal image also uses stamps from the same set. The image is stamped on a piece of Basic White cardstock that is 2 1/8 x 2 1/2. It is mounted a Granny Apple Green cardstock that is 2 1/4 x 2 5/8, adhered to the card with Dimensionals. I finished it off with some Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots.
I made all three cards the same way, just switching up the DSP, stamps, and colours.
I used the Amazing Silhouettes stamp set and Simply Elegant Specialty DSP for this card.
The third card features the Forever Fern stamp set and Beauty of the Earth DSP. I embellished this one with the Waves Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
I would love to have you leave a comment and let me know which one you like best!
