More Blending Fun
Recently I shared a post that had some cards made from some pretty paper I made using Blending Brushes. Today I have 3 more cards that I made using that sheet of cardstock.
For this card I used the Forever Blossoms stamp set, stamping my cherry blossoms on the cardstock I had coloured with my Blending Brushes. I used the Cherry Blossoms Dies to cut it out, and adhered it to a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock, bordered with Basic Black cardstock.
My background is Basic White cardstock, embossed with the Textile 3D Embossing Folder. My sentiment from the same stamp set is stamped with Memento Black ink on a piece of the coloured cardstock, and cut with one of the Tasteful Labels Dies. I finished the card with some Matte Black Dots.
I hadn’t planned it, but I love how the flowers have an ombre effect from very light mauve to purple, to blue as you go up the flower. Just how it landed on my cardstock!
My next 2 cards use the gorgeous butterfly dies from the Brilliant Wings Die set. I don’t think I could create the shading on these butterflies if I tried, but making a large piece of coloured cardstock and then just die cutting it did all the work for me. Some Gold Glitter Enamel Dots and Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon were used to embellish these cards.
I had to make this last card because I had used all my coloured cardstock, but there were some small bits left, I didn’t want any of this pretty paper to go to waste, so I cut some small butterflies from my scraps. Enough to have them flying around on another card!
