Blossoms In Bloom
The Blossoms In Bloom stamp set and coordinating Many Layered Blossoms Dies is a great bundle in the annual catalogue. I have admired it for a while, but only recently purchased it, and today I want to show it off!
The stamp set has pretty flower images and lots of great sentiments. You can create lots of pretty cards like the one above with just stamps, ink and paper.
I used Blackberry Bliss, Flirty Flamingo and Old Olive for this card. The flowers are all one stamp, creating an easy layout in one step.
The second card uses one of the dies, stepping it up a bit, but is still easy to create. I die cut the flowers, then used 2 of the stamps to add centres to them.
I used Bumblebee, Merry Merlot and Grey Granite for this card, and added a little Baker’s Twine Bow using the Well Suited Combo Pack. The Merry Merlot backdrop is embossed with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder, adding a little extra to the card.
The third card takes it up another notch, with some of the beautiful Love You Always Foil Sheets in Rococo Rose. I created a ‘mat’ with the dies, and used the Blending Brushes to add Blushing Bride ink to show behind my die cuts.
The flowers are bordered in Basic Black, cut with another of the dies. This is a great bundle to really step it up!
I love the big stamp with all the flowers on, but there are also smaller, individual stamps and dies. I used these to create a background with Cherry Cobbler, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, and Garden Green inks. I love making my own DSP using pretty stamps!
I cut some flowers with the small dies to accent my sentiment box. I used Dimensionals to pop up the sentiment as well as the sentiment frame, giving the card lots of raised texture. Each die cut flower is accented with a Clear Rhinestone.
These are just a few ways to use this wonderful Bundle. Why not give it a try and see how your flower garden grows!
