Flower & Field
The Flower & Field Designer Series Paper has lots of bright, intense coloured flowers on one side, and various geometric patterns on the other, and you can select it for free with a qualifying order during Sale-a-Bration. Today I used one of the patterns to make 3 different cards.
All 3 cards use some of the same elements. I used Bumblebee cardstock for the card base and sentiment frame, Cherry Cobbler for the other sentiment frame, Granny Apple Green, embossed with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing folder for the background layer, and a piece of the Flower & Field DSP.
The first card uses stamps from the Sweet Strawberry bundle for the flowers and sentiment. I also used the Small Bloom punch for the larger flowers. The small flower is punched with the Strawberry Builder punch, part of the bundle.
I added Gold Metallic Pearls to my flowers and sentiment.
For the second card I used the Dragonflies Punch, and punched some of the DSP, and a Vellum layer for the wings and small dragonflies. I punched an additional piece of DSP for the dragonfly body and glued it on top of the vellum wings.
The sentiment is from Winter Woods. I masked off part of the sentiment to just have Thinking Of You.
I added Clear Rhinestones to the dragonfly heads and sentiment.
Uh-oh, someone is in trouble!! This Darling Donkey is cute, but he is making a mess in the garden!! This guy is from the free Sale-a-Bration stamp set Darling Donkeys, along with the sentiment. I used Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends to colour the donkey, and added some Gold Metallic Pearls to embellish this card.
